The primary focus of Family, Youth and Child Services of Muskoka is to promote, support and protect the mental, physical, emotional and social well-being of children and youth and to strengthen families and community.  We envision a community where children, youth and families are safe and well.

The Muskoka Women’s Advocacy Group (MWAG) operates two 24-hour crisis shelters for abused women and their children – Muskoka Interval House, in Bracebridge and Chrysalis in Huntsville, which also offers supportive transitional housing units for vulnerable women.
Muskoka Interval House in Bracebridge and Chrysalis in Huntsville are 24-hour women’s crisis shelters, serving Muskoka.
