Stroke Recovery Association of Barrie and District

The Stroke Recovery Association of Barrie and District was founded in 1983 by stroke survivors and their families.  They offer support through exercise programs, social activities, and education.
 
The Stroke Recovery Association of Barrie and District is a registered charity (number available upon request) and is led by a volunteer board of directors.  Volunteers assist with all programs.
 
Programs offered by the Stroke Recovery Association include communication classes, pool exercises, chair exercises, social activities, and education programs.  These activities are set in place to help those who have suffered from stroke, recover in a safe supportive way.
