Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA)

The ABA Program
The purpose of the Applied Behaviour Analysis Services and Supports is to build on the continuum of services for children and youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).  The ABA services and supports are designed to help a broad range of children and youth with ASD develop skills in key areas and to address behaviours that interfere with functional life skills and decrease interfering behaviours.

The ABA Team
The ABA team members include the Program Manager, Psychologist/Psychological Associate, Behaviour Analyst, Social Worker, Speech Language Pathologist, Occupational Therapist, Communicative Disorders and Therapy Assistants.  The team works in consultation with the family and other service providers to meet the needs of each child in developing an individualized service plan.
Parents/caregivers are full partners in care for their children/youth and are involved in the planning and delivery of ABA services and supports.
