Do you have a necessary home repairthat needs to be completed and you can't afford to have it done? The Ontario renovates program provides funding for necessary home repairs, home accessibility modifications for persons with disabilities, and the purchase and installation of energy-saving products.
Are you a developer or builder interested in building affordable housing and looking for capital incentive funding? To help increase the supply of available affordable housing, the District administers the New Rental Housing Component of the Investment in Affordable Housing for Ontario 2014 Extension (IAH-E) on behalf of the Province as it applies to The District Municipality of Muskoka.
The IAH-E program is offered by the province to help:
improve access to affordable housing that is safe, sound, suitable, and sustainable for households across Ontario.
address the affordable housing needs of specific priority groups and contribute to the province’s overall targets for seniors and persons with disabilities.
by offering funding for an array of housing options that address affordable housing needs across the housing system.
incorporate energy efficiency and accessibility into affordable housing units and building design.
promote and support the use of apprentices and the training of skilled labour.
