Muskoka Seniors

Muskoka Seniors is a volunteer charitable organization working on your behalf to serve the seniors of Huntsville and surrounding area.
There are many services offered, which include, transportation; driving to medical appointments, local or long-distance locations, and various activities.  Advance notice is required.  Fees based on distance travelled.
Another service offered is meals on wheels where nutritious frozen entrees, soups and desserts are delivered by volunteers.  This service also provides a social contact and informal check on the health and safety of seniors.  
Friendship luncheons are also offered as a support service that provides a nutritious meal, social activity and transportation if required.  Luncheons take place on scheduled days in Huntsville, Baysville and Dorset.
Meaningful and fun relationships develop through telechat, friendly visiting and phone reassurance programs with the friendly visiting service.  
Services are also provided to assist in income tax preparation.  The Canada Revenue Agency supports a service to qualified income taxpayers through a network of trained community volunteers whereby income tax returns are prepared and EFILED at no cost to the taxpayer.
